I know it's a bit early for a holiday piece, but when the stock inspiration calls, I answer. I'm beyond thrilled with this piece. It is almost 100 layers and I think it's one of my very best, if not my best.

A girl was walking through the woods looking for the perfect Christmas tree. None of them seemed to fit the bill. Then she saw a sad, beautiful, bent little evergreen...and knew right away it was the perfect one. Suddenly no other tree would suffice. She would whisk this sad little thing home and take proper care of it. And it would brighten her holiday season the way no gift or light or garland could.
